Hey! Just a quick post to let you know that I haven't forgotton about the club, and I'm still alive. I am so sorry that I have been away.
Hope all is well with all of you! Keep inspired!
I hope to work on some things and start working on an idea for us. (He he) All I want to say is...Think Holidays or Aoshi's "Family". More details to follow.

A note from the Moderator

Hey! Just a quick post to let you know that I haven't forgotton about the club, and I'm still alive. I am so sorry that I have been away. My personal life has been keeping me extremely hectic (including-but not limited to- getting a stable job, married and moving) So I'm so sorry that I haven't been around. I currently do not have internet at my current residence, but I have an oppertunity to be connected once a week. I will be able to use that time to post and keep up with everything. I am working on a couple of ideas to "spruce the place up a bit" by holding a contest or two in the future.

Haiku Baiku has had their annual contest, and I am pleased to announce that two of our members have recieved awards for their work!

Our newest member, 's "Blood and Poppies" recieved Second in the Contest, and has graciously allowed us to post her entry into our gallery as our first post!

's "The Inevitable Journey" recieved an award for the best use of the theme "Passages"

Congratulations!

How to Join (adopted and modified from ~AshiteruClub)
1) Be a fan of Aoshi Shinomori
2) Send a note to the club with the subject "Join" (You'll receive a note welcoming you to the club. If you don't hear from the club in a week, please contact ~collegekid and I will jump on it as soon as possible.)
3) Please place the icon in your journal by putting : iconAoshifanclub : OR put : devAoshifanclub : somewhere it can be seen (without the spaces).
4) Enjoy!!

A Note from the Moderator:
Greetings! As a long-term Aoshi admirer, I've been hoping for a club like this to materialize, but alas, none ever did. There are several out there that are fans of the Oniwabanshuu, but have been currently inactive. I am hoping that this is not the case with this club, but I may need some help in the future to keep this going. I never ran a club before, but I'm hoping that things will be able to run smoothly. Any ideas that anyone has, feel free to send them my way!

As for the pairings of this character, I realize that everyone has their own opinions. I've seen Aoshi x Megumi, Aoshi x Misao, Aoshi x Kaoru, Aoshi x Original Characters [i.e. "Jade Sakura", "Okira" etc.] (I personally prefer this one). At this point in time, I believe that the club should be open to all of the possibilities, and as long as everyone can respect everyone else's opinon, I would like to keep it that way.

As for the I.d., Icon, etc, I'm hoping to run a contest eventually, and I am still toying with the idea of how contests should be run. I want to keep it fair. For now, I'm thinking of putting something simple together in the mean time.

Anyway, I hope that this works!
